Chrome Mirror Covers Empty Chrome Mirror Covers

Post by KatanaAl Mon 10 Oct 2016 - 17:56

Just received my chrome mirror covers today and they are really nice. As part of the fitting instructions I need to remove the mirror glass. The instructions show the mirror glass being prised out with a flat blade. Has anybody done this, what is holding the glass in and does it come out easily.
Thanks
Alan

Should just be stuck onto a backing plate with tape

Job done, actually they clip into place with a circular fitting approx 75mm in dia, the glass has to be prised off using a flat blade bigger than a screwdriver from the top. They pop off very easily. The standard mirror covers are a different matter.
