Cleaned chrome exhaust end piece
After some internet research, decided to try some Autosol metal polish on my chrome exhaust....wow !! excellent results..it had obviously never been properly polished before, but now looks factory fresh.
Just put the paste onto a light, non-scratch scouring pad...leave a few minutes, then polish off with a clean micro- fibre cloth. Mine was so bad that I had to use 3 applications but well worth the effort.

Renault should; in my opinion; have made the pipe a little longer to make it more of a rear end feature.
A kit to fit dummy second exhaust outlet to the right side ;for cosmetic purposes only; was available from Renault.
Given that it was purely cosmetic & also prevented the fitting of the rear towing/securing eye I doubt many people bothered.
Anyone out there got this mod?

I totally agree...making the tail pipe a bit longer would have certainly improved the "sporty" look of the car.
I do vaguely remember the dummy second exhaust kit on the Renault website....it would certainty have made the car look like a wolf in sheeps clothing !!
