Faulty Windows

Hi all. I was experiencing problems with the alarm with my car. I was not able to get into the car without the alarm going off. I covered the motion sensor and that let me sit in the car, but as soon as I turned on the ignition the alarm went off again. I have disconnected the battery and connected again and it seems to have solved the problem with the alarm. I now have a new problem that is when I get out of the car the window does not go up allowing the rain in.
Can anyone help me with this?

ctry closing the door and putting the window up the down holding the button  for a few seconds then  up and down again  hopefully that might sort it. There is a thread in the 'Tech stuff thread  will link you to it.
