Renault Paris
Back from a little weekend in the French Capital and sad to report I still didn't see any Winds. However, lots of Twingos, a decent number of Clios, lots of other Renaults and I am a little bit in love with the Talisman, the replacement to the Laguna they're not selling in RHD countries.
I always thought that the Champs Elise was a tree-lined avenue, and it is at the bottom, but the top half by le Arc De Triumph is basically a big version of Oxford Street. They have a range of showrooms that aren't really showrooms but more of an 'exhibition' space. So of course I had to visit the Renault one.

A few other interesting things - loads of Deux Chevaux but then they're used as a tour service where they drive you around in them.
There is also an interesting electric car sharing service called Autolib. These Pininfarina designed cars are everywhere, and whilst most of them look very tatty - unpainted aluminium body panels never cleaned don't fair well.
There is also quite a lot of supercars but they do an experience service where you pay €90 for about 20 mins going round the city centre. And when you get close up, particularly the Ferraris are again a bit ropey. They're obviously abused to within an inch of their maintenance windows.

Finally, yes the Champs Elysees is as mad as reported, but somehow it seems to work.
And whilst we were there, the Parisian Taxi Drivers were revolting.
I don't know what about.
