New Owner Wolverhampton
Hi folks, just wanted to say im now a Wind owner. Went to collect collection 002 from Wales today and grinned all the way home. Suffering now as even with factor 30 on, im lobsterfied but soo worth it. Will get some pictures when ive given it a proper clean and valet, but looking forward to sharing my experiences with you all.

Re: New Owner Wolverhampton
Thanks folks for the kind welcome. First up is a Cambelt change, then I am toying with trying to fit a 7" screen in the dashboard, and then get the dashboard covered in a nice leather. I might also increase the sound proofing under foot and in the doors. I've come from an Eclass where I was spoilt with leather everything so it would be nice to upgrade from the plastic fantastic that currently rebounds.
The only two issues so far is the massive blind spot on the drivers right hand side, and that you can't read the speedo when the sun is in your eyes.
Was grinning all the way to and from work today, and unlike every other car ive owned, ive not seen another whilst driving around yet.

Lol not seeing a Wind is good but imagine driving down the road and seeing 21 being part of the 21 was fun.

Hi. Number Two! A really early one. Wonder where numero uno is and what colour it was.

It seems like a black one with the bi-colour wheels were used in all the promo shots for the Collection model with REN 133 as the show plate. Not sure if it is no 1 or one of the other collections, but I suppose you'd assume Renault kept the first one.

Nice, I wonder how far apart the build dates are. I'll read the stickers again tomorrow.

First registration of my wind was Feb 2011 but doesn't really give any clues to the factory build date. Don't know if they were made to order. Or just built 200 of them and shipped on demand.

Re: New Owner Wolverhampton
Yes it was the 3,937 wind built but you might want to change your picture please that shows you VIN number as well.
The E4MF refers to the Engine

Re: New Owner Wolverhampton
I was trying to figure out if the collection range had the same allocation across Europe or if they repeated the numbers in the LDH and RHD versions. May have to break out the spreadsheet and try and trace as many collections as I can find. I did also find 000 which I now assume is the Renault marketing version.

Ahh Colin that's takes me back when I lived in Durham the overlookers where I worked all spoke like that. (overlookers term used for fitters in the weaving industry) they all came from the Borders.
