Hi everyone, i've been looking for one of these for a while, and finally became the owner of a black 1.6 yesterday, i'll post some pics when i've had a chance to give it a polish Smile it came on 15 inch alloys, but i also got the 17's with it, which i'll be refurbing ASAP.  Just ordered oil/filters, which i'll change as soon as they arrive. No evidence of a cambelt change in history, so thats also a high priority. How much should i budget for a belt change from a specialist?
Cheers,

Lee

Hi and welcome 😊
I went to an independent local garage with my 1.2 who quoted me £250 for the Cambelt change, water pump and 2 hours labour... 6 hours later they finished !! still only charged me the 2 hours though 😂 phew !!
Not sure if the 1.6 is more complicated and may need a special tool ??
Perhaps someone else can help on that one...

Hello and welcome. Get ready for some skinned knuckles and wrists if you are doing your own oil filter. Hope you enjoy the new car, they are great fun.
