Drivers window 2.
Right, I took the door card off today to have a look, and boy things have changed since I last had to fiddle with window winders!
It's all pulleys and wires now - which are all attached to the motor and the assembly is all one part and costs £100 +.
So before I fork out for a new part, has anyone had a motor fail?
Has anyone had anything else fail which caused the window not to open?
I would hate to find out that the motor was not at fault after buying a new one.
Impaling my index finger with my electrical screwdriver was painful enough. I still can't feel my fingertip properly!

Not had a motor fail but I did have an issue when a new battery was installed, the window was down and the door has to be shut to reset.
