Whistling noise from drivers window

Anybody else experienced a high pitched whistling noise from the drivers door/window...or passengers side ?
I have checked the window seals which seem ok, and reset the windows to ensure that theyre going all the way up, but at around 35mph this aggravating high pitched wind whistle starts...and its right at ear level !!
I can't see anywhere where there's a visible air gap, and there is never any water ingress. Anybody had anything similar ?
