Cam Belt or Timing Chain

Hi everyone I am looking to buy another Renault Wind and it needs the Cam belt/Chain replacing. I have been told by the dealerships mechanic that it dose not have a cam belt it has a Timing Chain is this correct as I have looked everywhere and I keep coming up with it being a Belt NOT a Chain.
It is a 1.2 TCE year 2010. is the mechanic correct that its a timing chain or is it really a Cam Belt.

Belt it is and water pump. 1.2 is cheaper than 1.6

I recently had the Cam belt and water pump changed on my 1.2 and it cost £400 all in, and took 5 hours to complete

I'd be very worried about entrusting my car to anyone who didn't know it has a belt NOT a chain.

Was that from an official Renault dealership?

Hi Royston. Did you get your Cam belt (not chain), and water pump replaced at that garage in the end ?

i can confirm as a mechanic myself who has just done a cam belt on my wind, is not a chain. atleast on the 1.2 but i dont think it be different with the 1.6
