Vague steering

There is something wrong with my steering...its vague and feels dangerous above 60mph....the esp warning triangle flickers on sometimes when going round a bend....someone suggested i swap front tyres for rear but has made no difference....any help would be appreciated.

Have you had the tracking checked?

I swapped wheels from back to front but made no difference....iv been searching internet and someone suggested turning steering from lock to lock which(apparently) resets the sensors....amazingly this has worked....car is now driving accurately in all directions.
