One of the first problems I encountered with my car was a rattle from the roof. Advice given to me was to put grease in the catches above the windscreen... Magic it works.

Or turn your hearing aid off hehe, but yeah you need to put grease on the 2 catches on the roof

Mine needed to be taken off, and realigned. It took two days, so luckily it was under warranty at the time.
I also found that a little insulation tape around the lock pins helped, before realignment.
