Creaking noises
Having put up with odd loud creaking and knocking noises coming from the rear bodywork of the car when going over uneven..in other words, every road in Kent..roads for some time now, I decided to investigate further.
At least one of the "creaks" was also happening when the roof was closing.. so, out came the silicone grease...
I have applied grease to absolutely every moving part and pivot point in the roof and boot mechanism, as well as the locating pins on the front of the roof panel..
Hey presto..a silent and creak free ride !!
Incidentally, the creaking noises were only apparent with the roof closed..the bodywork was silent with the roof open.

Re: Creaking noises
Silicone grease is the best thing in the world. Need to get some on mine as it is starting to creak.
