Great news - all good for another 12 months - mines due the end of October here's hoping for the same result.
Having new indicator switch and cambelt replacement at the same time

Hope all goes well tomorrow jonhty, fingers crossed!
Having my cam belt done at the end of the month, ex son in laws doing it, I buy the kit, he charges me the earth!!
He reckons about £60!! Just got to find a decent service kit, belt, tensioner and water pump.
Found a gates's one for just under £80, still doing homework though!

I guess you have a 1.2.
£60 labour for a cam belt change. Your ex is doing you a good deal. Hang on to him!!
The 1.6 cam belt change is allocated over 5 hrs labour time even at a main dealership's workshop let alone a local garage with less product knowledge. As I found out earlier this year to my cost.

all changed, cam belt, aux belt, tensioners and water pump!
a big thanks to all that contributed to the good health of my little wind,
son in law, (ex)
pittstop for his helpful advice,
my lovely wife for giving me the opportunity to own my wind,
my mum and dad for giving birth to me so that I would become a wind owner,
my 3 girls for not taking the mickey too much,
my mother in law for giving birth to my lovely wife who then gave me the opportunity to own my wind,
my wee shih tzu Lola for not weeing on my seat when we went to the vets last week. and finally, if it wasn't for Renault, my life would be a little more boring than it is now!!
(I'm on a 12 hour night shift, so please understand!!)
