Do you have any parking sensors fitted?

Re: Bleeping noise
Reverse parking sensors should only energize when the car is put in reverse.
I bet you were almost on low fuel, and by going over the speed bump caused the low fuel beep to operate.

My sensors have bleeped when not in reverse but only a couple of times.

Do you have front ones as well?...as they obviously would not work through reverse.

No just at the back. Not worried as its only happened a couple of times. Can't be fuel sensor as my fuel never gets less than a quarter of a tank.

Re: Bleeping noise
No parking sensors fitted and fuel was between quarter and half but low fuel warning was my thought, it was a decent sized ramp and perhaps i was just a bit speedy.....thanks for replying folks.

Still think it could be your float switch in the fuel tank jumping, if you bounced hard.
Moral: take it easy over the speed bumps

Re: Bleeping noise
At least in a Wind speed humps are just an inconvenience. Lots of humps my way but never had a bleep from the Wind.
My TF would occasionally ground unless I went really slowly & I had so many grounding problems with my 2001 V6 Alfa Spider that I ended up spending £250 having a bespoke centre section made for my exhaust system. Took out two of the 4 cats so it sounded great & just about passed MoT emissions as long as a sympathetic tester was prepared to give it a few tries!! My tester owns a Firebird so he knows all about emissions!!!!
