yes I always park as far away as possible and if I can the end space.

Early start for me today. Don't like going to work in the dark, temperature read 2 degrees and flashing. On the plus side clear skies so it might be a beautiful sunrise.

It was a lovely sunrise and if the sky stays clear it might be a lovely sunset. Bit chilly for topless motoring. Although I am sure Knebby would disagree...

Obviously!! Still all day topless motoring for me but the temp hasn't been down to 2 yet. 6 degrees and topless 80-odd on the motorway the other morning was refreshing!

On the downside the heater fan has started making a knocking noise and occasionally doesn't come on. Need to get that sorted at the next service...

Summer is clinging on in Carlisle, currently basking topless beneath blue skies and a balmy 16 degrees.

Snap....We were in the Lake District a few weeks back on a Caravan Holiday down at Grange-over-Sands area.

Used the wifes car, its a wee Smart Car, as I had hurt my left knee in a DIY accident (still sore), and needed to drive her auto which has no clutch pedal. 

Its amazing what you can get in the boot of these small Fortwo's. A whole weeks worth of baggage. 

This is our third Smart, two fortwos and a Roadster, and hoping to get the new Fortwo 2015 version next, if we can get her a good leasing deal 

(it seems the way to go now, personal leasing rather than buying outright)

Forgot to ask Colin  when a few of us were trying to locate Wind owners we found a Colsmart on one of the Smart Forums could that of been you?

That was me, but was not on that website for a long period of time, so would not have responded.

Usually only go to the website if anything wrong with the car, but this 451 Fortwo Cdi has been ultra reliable for the last three years (famous last words  )

Sorry for not following it up. Was going to join just to tell you about the forum but felt like a troll.

Tried finding Balgair but failed I know they had a Smart car....

The new Smart Fortwo 453 has a longer bonnet than previous versions, and have good leasing deals. So we are awaiting bright red to be brought back into the colour options end of this year, before getting one. (She wants a red/silver one next). Why they removed red and yellow in the first place was crazy, as they were very popular colours. Oh, and they have Renault engines this time, and manual boxes, instead of Mercedes auto ones.

PS..they also do a Four seaters now, and that is the Forfour, which is a stretched fortwo, but the wife just like small cars, hence the Fortwo.

It's the same basic car as the new Twingo, and we all know what the old Twingo in drag was called.
