Summer over

Well looks like the Summer has gone, cool and wet today. Seen some of the pictures of what people have had we seem to of got off lightly.

The lightning storm over London looked amazing but no thunder.... Weird

We are getting a right mix one minute its bright sunshine the next black clouds. Not been out in the Wind today but if I had it would top firmly shut lol

It was lovely here, this weekend.

This was in Dover, this afternoon.

That looks great. Might have to book another holiday down there....

How are you coping down there? This operation stack seems horrendous

It's good when it's on.  Today (stack went live at 6.30am) it took me the normal 10-15 minutes to get to work.  Yesterday, when Stack wasn't running, it was a free-for-all, and took me half an hour.

Oh that's good then. Did wonder if we were on hol down there what the effect would be

Just got back from Germany it's been between 25 and 31 not great in a humid factory just barely underground

Sounds uncomfortable. You seem to travel a lot where now? Take us with you always nice to see where friends go.

I'm back in the midlands but I'll be doing some more leisure travel over the next 2 weeks, I've just had a new company car but the wind will be coming with me.

I have been out setting up freight monitoring systems all over Europe, it doesn't look set to stop either I'm in the process of setting up a palletised goods system with Volkswagen which is going to be completely lossless, it's a massive contract and the proportions involved are immense

that sound very impressive.

If you have the sort of skills needed to set up systems  arranging a WIND meet should be an easy option for you (talked yourself into a job there)  lol

There's a twingo meet happening in derby in August, would be good to gate crash that considering the cars are based on the same platform

Well a full weekend of sunshine and warmth been lovely lets hope we get this on the meet.

Is it just me..... Seems no time at all since we started a new Year and now the nights seem to be drawing in far too fast. August Bank holiday next weekend then Christmas.

over £300 probably not worth it. No top down today it's raining.

Don' t you just love Sunday evening knowing tomorrow is a Bank Holiday.....

It's clean but I've been swatting flies with the front so it's covered, someone kindly gave me another dent in the door today too.

I was always looking for some sort of rubber strip protection for the doors, but never found anything that would look good. 

So I still tend to park furthest away in a supermarket carpark, but some git ends up parking beside me
