Which engine Empty Which engine

Which engine.    I'm open to either of them.  It  will be used as a daily driver so 40 percent town 40 percent a and b road and 20 percent motorway. Will do about 12 to 18k a year. Any big ups or down sides to either engine.

If you are after fuel economy, then the 1.2 is much better on fuel with not a lot of loss of power when nipping about. If anything, the 1.2 is a little shaper off the mark to 20/30mph with the turbo.
The 1.6 is quicker overall and the engine note from the exhaust has much more grunt. The 1.2 sounds a little sewing machine ish at times.
That said, at motorway speeds the 1.6 is high revving and feels as though it could do with a sixth gear.
I’ve had a 1.2 turbo Twingo and I now have the 1.6 Wind. Both have their advantages.
If fuel is a concern then definitely go for the 1.2
If not, I’d go 1.6. If you work the gearbox, it loves to go at high revs!😊👍🏻

Driven them both, personally I prefer the 1.2. Love the sound of the turbo winding up and it is nippier driving around town. 1.6 is just as nice but you DO need to rev it like mad to get any power and doing that around town is not always easy. Give them both a go if you can.

Cheers probabaly going for the 1.2 then. Just got to find one.   The prices seem to be all over the place and almost all dealer cars.

I'd go along with that.

1.2 good choice. And Black is a great choice too, especially if, like mine you can get the black wheels 👍
