Driver door window problem

Has anyone had this problem and if so, how did they fix it please?

I think the problem coincided with the fitting of a new battery. The driver door window drops a little (as it should) when door opened but doesn't go back up when door closed.

So if the window isn't returned back to top position using the window opener switch, the window continues to drop to fully open position every time I open the door.

To close it fully I have to use the switch and then exit the passenger side. The window on the passenger side working fine.

Any help very welcome.

Apparently the Renault technical guidance is to close the window and hold the switch for 10 second, then open the window and hold the switch for 10 second, then close the window and hold for 10 seconds again.
