roof shuts with a bang Empty roof shuts with a bang

Hi All I am anew owner and member. When I shut the roof it shuts with a loud bang, opening is fine. Is the roof just operated by an electric motor or is it part hydraulics? Any help and solutions would be great. Thank you John.

The roof closing with a bang is normal.

You will love being a Wind owner the bang is normal. You have to make sure you keep greasing the bits in some cases to stop it sticking and in others to stop it squeaking. In most cases if it moves grease it. Silicone is best not WD40.
