Hi all, new to all of this. Purchased a Wind July of this year and have a couple of questions;
Can anyone recommend an engine oil for 1.2 Dynamique S TCE and my temperature gauge gets to the middle quite quickly even on a short journey. Never moves past that mark and car has water is that normal?

Thanks 😊

5W40 quality oil. Something like Castrol Magnatec or Edge and it takes 4.2 litres.

The engine in my 1.6 warms up very quickly too so is normal.

My wifes Insignia diesel takes about 10 minutes to get to full temperature. Not great on a cold damp morning...

Welcome to the Forum.

Like yours my temp gauge & heater output rise quite quickly: good news this time of year

Great thing about the heaters in many 2 seater cars is that in most cases the heater core is the same size as the one in a 4/5 seater model by the same company so warms up a 2 seater easily.

Mine also has the luxury of heated seats.

Thank you.

It’s great to know that my car is okay and it’s not just me going mad. Mine also has heated seats.
