Hi there everyone!
Just to say i can’t wait to become a Renault Wind owner this coming weekend!
Ive owned a Renault Twingo GT for the last 4 years, but have decided to upgrade to a Wind 1.6 Collection!

Hello and welcome to the group. Black looks OK but Blue is better...  

I really do like the blue Barbs, but I wanted the Collection model and think they only do them in mainly black and a few white ones!
The black with the black wheels really attracted me to this one too. Looks great with the chrome!

Blue or Black?

I've compromised with a blue car with a black front & wheels!

Well it seems like black is a pretty popular choice for these little cars
As I said, I wanted one of the collection models and think the majority of them come in black anyway.

SHEFFIELD near enough for me to check out the black Wind. We are in DONCASTER

Everybody knows that RED is best but black is a good second best!

The "Collection" 
60 Wind listed
Black wins with 73% (44) on the white 27 % (16) 
The 1.2 l wins with 68% (41) on the 1.6 l 32% (19) 
Note: There are 2 numbers 27 in Italy. I have no explanation ... Probably an inter-country sale? The "Gordini" 102 Wind listed The Maltese blue wins with 59% (60) on the white 31% (31) and the black pearl 10% (10) The 1.2 l wins with 56% (57) on the 1.

Is Bleu Malte; the colour of our Winds; what we call Bleu Majorelle?
I think so it is a Darker Blue

I thought there were supposed to be 200 Collection models altogether?
Where are the others, as with that info I can only see three 1.6 Collection in Britain ?

This link shows how many are getting taxed every year. Though it doesn't give details of individual cars, or the individual number within a special edition series, it does show how many are still on the road and in use.

1.6 Collection owner here, in White (which is the best colour of course!), number 092. After 2 years and 30k miles as my daily driver it's earned an easier life of weekend and sunny day use. I've recently picked up another car for my regular commute (unless it's sunny!). I'm based just a little north of Sheffield. despite best intentions I'm an infrequent visitor on the forum, I really should try harder.

Nice to hear from a fellow 1.6 Collection owner!
I don’t think the Wind looks bad in any of the colours to be fair, but when I saw mine in black with the black wheels and chrome bits, I couldn’t resist it!
Mines done just under 34k miles, but I’ve only done less than 150 in it so far so still getting used to it.
I have it as my daily drive, but only do around 3.5k a year so it should stay pretty low!
Mines no. 155.
It’s a little more thirsty than my previous Twingo GT, but a small price to pay for such a rare good looking car in my opinion!
