Radio code Empty Radio code

Post by Neil Tue 18 Jun 2019 - 23:07

Will the radio have a code and if so, how do I find out what it is? I have the handbook pus a manual for the radio and the manual has a sticker on the back with several printed numbers, but I don't know if any of these are likely contenders. How long will the code be? Is there a way of showing the code on the radio itself? Thanks in advance for any wise words...

Good question I think it was 4 digits but will check tonight. Off to work now.

Thanks, Barbs. Unfortunately, the sticker doesn't carry a four-digit number so I guess I may have to rely on the local Renault dealer who, for £15, and a look at the log book claim to be able to supply the code. We'll see!

I have seen this post too late, but for future searches:

I asked myself the same question lately (battery was down) but my radio obviously did not have a code. New battery - no code was needed.

this depends on how the battery changed. if you put a jump pack onto the 2 terminals for when you change it, you normally dont have to but most people dont and just hunt the code
