Car / colour count

I don't suppose MKStevo (or anyone else) still has the stats for the number of Winds produced and their colour?

UK market, that is...

How many left has the numbers on the road not colours

You'll be pleased to know that although I gave most of the Wind related paperwork to the new owner of our car, I did keep the (tatty!) piece of paper that I had written down the car sales figures for the U.K. on. Phew!

All figures were given to me by Renault U.K. Customer services. I presume them to be correct as of October 2013.

In the U.K. Renault sold 2490 Winds.
The breakdown of colour of vehicles sold was:
Black 1202
Blue 913
White 224
Grey 44
Red 35

Not forgetting...
Brown 1

As of June 2010 Renault manufactured 124,718 cars.

Only 53 Gordini's, thought they were supposed to be a run of  100?

Was there not winds that had number plaques?

The Collection was the initial run of 200 with numbered plaques and other bits like a red dashboard cowl, chrome effect mirror covers and boot lid blisters, red bits on the door pulls and some extra transfers next to the badges.

Overall numbers  found 913 of the best colour lol

These are the DoT figures as at Q1 2019 showing 2180 licenced Winds 81 less thab Barb's 2014 stats & 310 less than mkstevos production figures..

I wonder what became of them all?

Just as rare in Europe even though they were sold there up to about 2014. 

Before we bought ours we had only ever seen two Winds: one in Cannes, France (In the customer car park of a very expensive hotel which gave it some serious street cred in our eyes) & the other in Rapallo Italy.

It's not unusual when on one of our trips to get a Frenchman come up & ask: Is it really a Renault??
