What No Wind

Just got back from our trip to San Sebastien.

Great resort; sadly much rain so no topless motoring; but no Winds!

No Wind sightings in the whole trip. Was actually approached 3 times in France to ask what it was & some AutoRoute over takers hovered next to us whilst the passenger got an eyeful! Trust me it wasn't us OAPsthey were looking at.

The Wind; for such a small car; certainly munches up the miles in some comfort so we are now planning a run down to the French Riviera in Sept.

I was looking forward to taking the Wind to Belgium for the F1, but as we're camping, unfortunately we've booked the Focus on the Ferry instead. Mainly because my comfy fishing bed fills the boot, and we're likely to be buying another.

I think Clarkson went there for one of his other TV shows and did a tour of the Basque region. He went to a festival, and basically you went round the bars eating and drinking, and for everything you had, you had a cocktail stick. At the end of the night, wherever you ended up, you settled up based on the number of cocktail sticks you had.
