Re: headlamp cover issue
Is it on the outside, inside, or all the way through?
In my experience whiting of plastics is usually down to overheating or impact damage. I assume the lights are made from plastic rather than glass. It could also be degradation due to contamination, but really difficult to tell without closely inspecting. Other than the whiting and the raised dint, is there any sign of other damage, e.g roughness, a chip, anything like that?
Has anyone else seen issues like this with the Wind?

Oh just thought, did you use plastic headlight adjusters when you did your trip to France? If so, are you 100% sure you removed all glue residue from the light afterwards. Are they OEM or after market ones you bought?

Yes I did have the stickers on the headlamp and I thought I had cleaned them off properly. I think this has just appeared recently. I think it is on the outside.

I know I am digging up an old thread, but did you resolve this Barbs? My dipped beam bulb blew today. Checking in the owners manual I downloaded it specifies "It is essential to use anti U.V. 55W bulbs so as not to damage the plastic on the headlights" (their emphasis). Could it be where the U.V. is at it's most intense from an incorrectly selected bulb?

Sorted sort of. I found, or rather our Car Guru @Araf found someone the was moving from England to France so they put new front lights in. I have bought them but they are still in Araf's garage. I had a meeting in Rochester but timing was bad. Hoping that our Buyer will be down in Kent soon to pick them up. Or it could be a weekend away. One lamp was a stone chip.
