Re: Weekend Wind
Mine desperately needs a visit to the Eastern European car wash. I live on a new-build housing estate with the heavy trucks going up and down kicking up the mud & dust, which I expect has similar issues to your scrap yard Barbs. Still, its incentive to sort out the garage so I can lock it away when its not in use to protect it, THEN I can justify getting it detailed.

The Lativan lads round here are really good, but there are so many places to choose from, they'd go out of business pretty quickly if they weren't.

I am surrounded by sites that put out muck but also there is a new houses estate going up so it's a no win situation. Which is why the purple one was bought. Just watch the dirt in the roof mechanism because that was what stopped mine working.

Re: Weekend Wind
I greased all the moving components I could find when I got it, hopefully that should keep everything in order. Just need some shelves up in the garage so I can store things properly, including the Wind.
Re: Weekend Wind
I know the Wind is small but.... On a shelf.... Only joking I know what you meant. Reminds me of something I saw years ago. A turntable in front of a garage so you never had to reverse off a drive.

Never reverse off a drive, always reverse on.

Did see one where you drove the car in and it was like a lift but I don't trust technology when I wanted my car out there would be a power cut. Lol

Re: Weekend Wind
@Barbs Are your park sensors Renault Official or after market? If its the former, how do they integrate, and how easy was it to install?

Re: Weekend Wind
Ahh, I wasn't sure if it was a Renault option. I'm looking at rear view dash-cameras as I'm getting fed up with people driving up my a$$ - not sure why the Wind encourages such behavior - but I want to get one that allows me to switch it on for parking purposes too.

One of the French guys had a camera hidden in his number plate. Showed on his mobile I think.

Yes. I think the lens came through on the black part of one of the letters in the reg number, and bluetoothed to his 'phone. Very covert.
