Just had a lovely week just over the Border in a little village called Lower Burnmouth. Weather has been really kind to us. Waking up and seeing the sea was fab. Hope you all missed me.....

I'd put money on it being that it rained. Laughing

Had all four seasons in a day whilst I was there; I enjoyed my visit.

I also bought a microwave, and was making homemade 'chicken/rice/potato' soup and the potatoes in it exploded so much, the plastic lid flew off and soup mess was everywhere.

A good first initiation for the machine, and required a good clean out Very Happy

PS...glad you enjoyed your Scottish holiday  Smile

It's called Partanhall Burnmouth. 6 miles from Berwick on Tweed and 3 miles from Eyemouth.

Yes Araf they are similar except there are more pubs at St Margret's, our nearest pub was about half a mile away straight up the hill. First and last pub in Scotland. Fourth holiday there and still not been in it.
