Happy Christmas 2023
I know this site isn't as popular as it used to be but we are still here if you need help or advice.
Wishing you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
Hopefully many more years of driving our Winds.

Re: Happy Christmas 2023
Hi barbs
I am unsure how to post to full site, just bought my daughter a wind 61 plate 1.2, cracking wee car , we have an issue the blowers are not working, I can't find any help online apart from maybe, it's the same as a twingo, the pre resistor seems to be the most common thing that comes up, any help appreciated

By heater I'm presuming you mean fan ? Does it work on any speed, renaults have an issue at times with the resistor, which manifests itself as working just on high speed.
If there's no fan working at all, you need to get to the blower motor connection, unplug it, see if you have a live feed there when it's switched on, if you do, it's likely a new blower motor.
N.B. sometimes giving the blower motor a tap with the head of a screwdriver or similar, gets them working again

Re: Happy Christmas 2023
I think it’s located behind the centre of the dash and your best bet getting to it is from the passenger footwell.
On The Renault Wind Owners Club UK Facebook page it does say that most of the dash has to be removed. 🥲

What’s your daughter’s first name so I can make sure she gets approved in the club as I’m the admin. It’s a lovely friendly club.
If she enters heater blower into the search at the top of the club page, there has been quite a bit of discussion over problems with the heaters on the Wind.

No problem! Either myself or Barbara will make sure she is accepted into the club.
It’s easier to share pictures on the Facebook group, so you can ask for tips and advice on there too with photos.
Hope you manage to get it sorted!
They are great cars and a future classic.
