Hi
Got a bit of a creak, when the roof section flips back closed after the roof has been down, used silicone grease on the mechanism, which helps for a short while.
Where are the best points to spray lubricant ?

I was about to ask a very similar question. Does anyone have (or can anyone point me to) an idiots guide of the roof related areas that need to be lubricated. Where are they and what to lubricate them with? I'm already applying silicon lubricant to the rubber seals around the top of the windscreen (as advised some time ago) but I'm guessing there's more to go at?

Thanks all.

If you can get rid of any dirt in the hinges at the back of the boot lid and spray in there.

Silicon grease around those hinges certainly cured my roof creaks when the roof was closing after being open..

I cleaned the hinges as Barbs suggests and smeared a large quantity of grease around any joint that moved on both hinges, and the creaking stopped.

Mine started creaking too so did what they've all done and had no problems since.
