Hi

Just thought I'd say hi and share an image of my car

It's a Renault Wind Dynamique S 1.2 TCE the only optional extra I know too is reversing sensors which I don't need as I always seem to park miles from everything I reverse up to.

You'll probably see a lot of me as I'm a little bit of a car forum addict I'll always be around learning and sharing experiences.

A little more on the car

22,500 miles (est I'll put 12K a year on it)
Has 2 stamps (would have liked 5 but mechanicals were very good and the price was right)
Total 10 parking dinks(annoying as hell)

Other cars I own:
Audi RS3 engine and looms only ( car was wrote off currently in the process of swapping the engine into another audi a3)
Crossfire SRT-6 - for those not familiar this was a sporty crossfire with a 3.2 supercharged AMG engine. It's good fun but skittish at high speed and very easy to lose your licence in
Datsun 4x4 terios? I think - need a car to transport anything needing boot space managed to pick this up for £300 from a scrap yard needed a new cat which I changed in good time due to seriously rusted bolts, runs like a dream but is majorly underpowered.

Thank you barbs, I was thinking of travelling to FCS but think now I will wait until the end of season show so I can get the car looking better and maybe add a few finishing touches.

Plans are in order:
Refurb/replace wheels (whatever's cheaper)
New tyres (car has premiums on now but are at 3mm ea)
Create a solution to heat causing ball joints to weaken
Replace all disks and pads
Get all dinks and minor scratches sprayed
Upgrade to clio 197 calipers and disks
Fit 2.0 182 engine and 6 speed gearbox and custom exhaust

Forgot to mention the SRT-6 has an lpg conversion works out to 16mpg around town and 36 mpg equivalent on a cruise half that when using petrol.

Car was fully resprayed due to thin paint and under sealed, it's my pride and joy and has covered 100 dry miles in my ownership, other than that it just sits in my garage love to go in and just look at it, the engine is a work of art.

Spend my spare time sorting the wiring loom for the RS3 so I like to keep busy anyway, due to health issues I need to be as active as possible so have the cars as ways of keeping active.

As soon as I find a good A3 I can't wait to drop the engine in there and strip the car, once that's done I'll probably sell it as a track car.

The wind will be my daily for as long as I can keep it, I do need to look at ways of improving the steering feel on it too, maybe by adjusting some settings on the speed adjusted power steering, seems a bit floppy at low speeds

Update in just over 4 months I've put 6800 miles on the car and I find myself using it a lot more than anticipated; nothing's changed on the car yet due to other commitments.

I'm now driving a crossfire and building a covin turbo; slowly but surely.
