I was out in the Wind today but had the roof on and the a/c on - it was too hot. I know, remind me of that when it's cold and rainy.

Another alternative we use when on Mediterranean hols if we want to enjoy mountain scenery in hot weather is: roof down; side windows up; brimmed hats on; & air con on to provide a cool 'bubble' inside the car.

That said I agree: yesterday was far too hot to put roof down.
