Surprisingly Large Battery Empty Surprisingly Large Battery

I came to pop out earlier in the Wind, and found that it had leaked some electricity since the last time I used it a couple of weeks ago. Now, previously I've been able to leave it some time without issue, but the last couple of times I've come to take it out, it has just been a bit cranky to crank. Today it did the thing I'm familiar with in my old Merc, relays click, the instrument panel has a bit of a freak and not much happens.

At this point I'm assuming the battery is on its way out. I'm doing a recharge to see how it goes, but I'm guessing its an original battery - it has Renault logos. What surprises me is how might the thing is! 60Ah! No wonder when its at capacity, it cranks so easily. I assume that umphf is required to do the roof without the engine running.

Will see how it goes after a charge cycle, but anyone have any battery recommendations for the Wind?

Battery swapped as it seems to have failed pretty quickly today.
Got the Yuasa HSB013 from Halfords with a five year warranty. £117 for the battery which seemed competitively priced, and £10 to have the boy do the installation. Didn't even lose the radio code which was a surprise.

A (hopefully) final followup. Whilst the radio kept going, it seems like the windows forgot their settings, meaning that when you opened and closed the door, they don't return to their fully closed position - sitting an inch or two down from the frame. Which was fun, given the rain we had earlier.

Anyway, you just have to reset the window positions. To do this, turn the ignition to the first notch, wind the Winds windows fully up, and hold the button in the position for at least 10 seconds. Then lower the windows, and hold the button again in the windows lowest position, again for at least 10 seconds.

A few people have noted it may take a few combinations of upping and downing the glass, but that procedure seemed to work for me.
