Oil for the Wind Empty re Oil for Wind

Post by renton beersworth Thu 10 Feb 2022 - 10:47

Hello Pineapple,  I am not an expert in these matters and usually take the advice of my trusted mechanic when needed, however I did ask this question of
him a while back and he advised using 5/40 oil.  The only proviso was that it had be be from a recognised manufacturer such as   Castrol  , Mobil  , or  Shell  etc.
He advised not using supermarket oil or unfamilier brands.
I have owned my wind for about 4 yrs and always followed that advice without any problem.

Hope this helps....     R.B.

I’ve always used the 5W40 in mine recommended by my mechanic and had no problems. 😊👍🏻
