Wind boot lid
Does any wind owner know if any other Renault models boot badges will fit on the Wind
ie contour and overall size etc plus of course the fixing pins.
Here's hoping. Sweeney

There are no fixing pins on the boot, to remove a hairdryer works a few Winds have had the badge removed over the years.Sweeney wrote:Does any wind owner know if any other Renault models boot badges will fit on the Wind

If you are thinking of the Renault badge rather than the Wind badge i dont think the badge from other Renaults will fit. The Wind badge has 3 pins while others have 4. Also on the Wind the badge covers the manual roof mechanism.

Re: Wind boot lid
Hi Sweeny - on my previous Wind I bought a black plastic badge cover off ebay very cheap couple of quid which I used to go over the chrome one. Not realising at the time that access is required if you have problems with the roof but that car didn’t have its roof spanner either.
So although I have another black wind - I haven’t bothered to cover it over just in case. BTW have also removed the roof spanner from its site in the boot to in the glove box.
