New White Wind

Picked my new white Wind up yesterday and it’s absolutely lovely. Just wondered what peoples opinion’s where. The roof is obviously black, the mirrors on the white car are also black, wondered about having the rear cowls wrapped in black.
I also need to get the wheels refurbished, they are dreadful. Anybody give me some indication what this might cost. The alternatives are to have the rims and details repolished and lacquered or to have the wheels completely repainted. I know Barbs has had this done and her wheels look great.

You could paint them white..

My refurb cost £35 a wheel but that was mates rate.will see if I can find some pics from the meet, white Winds were popular over there.

I had white wheels on a Citroen C2 a good few years ago and it looked great, the car was blue. I think white wheels with a white car would be too much.
Wish I had a mate, that is a great price, I have the horrible feeling it might cost me between £80 and £100 per wheel.

Just been quoted £200 to have the full set of wheels prepped and powder coated. Think that seems fair so the car is booked in for next Thursday.

Do they do the wheels in a day or do you have to leave the car ? Looking forward to pictures

They did my wheels in a day but I do work opposite so if they were busy easy to rearrange

I dropped my car in on Thursday morning and picked it up on Friday afternoon. They wanted it overnight.
