Looks quite good that but visibility is so bad not sure I would get used to not being able to see out.

People are more idiotic on the road lately, especially since lockdown. They have either forgotten how to drive or have a lot more on their minds, probably both. I'm quite a conservative driver and more often than not get someone right up behind me waving their arms everywhere, tooting, telling me to get a move on even though I do the speed limit etc... Usually makes me a bit anxious so if I don't see it then it can't have an effect. I can't see out of it not that I'd want to but have a camera which does; I can only see bumpers in that which is enough. Also, seeing people riding my bumper drives me mad, so again out of sight out of mind. 😀😀

That, my friend all makes perfect sense 👍

And you're quite right about the idiots on the road.. I too consider the speed limit to be just that..a limit - not a target.. and 60mph on country lanes especially is utter madness in my opinion!!

Personally, when they get too close, I slow even more and let them pass.. better an idiot in front (or in a hedge), than behind me on my bumper !!

I would not go for that, you have lost a lot of your rear viewing, relying more on your door mirrors.

For a start people driving behind a Wind can hardly see in through the back of a Winds rear window, just the back of the seats if they are lucky.

If you feel you must have some sort of privacy, then a mesh wind deflector suitably sized and fitted behind the seats might be the answer. You can see out easily with mesh, but they cannot see in.

In fact checking my old mesh wind deflector for our previous Vauxhall Tigra convertible would fit the Wind, I kept mine when I sold my Tigra, thinking i might use it on another convertible. You can get them cheap on Ebay nowadays for £30+, all you need to do is take the winding handle off its frame, and tie rap it to the Wind behind the seats. Could also be a good wind deflector in itself Very Happy

I wanted the original one for the wind as that would have done it but can't find it anywhere.

I went for an acrylic gloss white one so when the roof is down it looks like the deflector is connected to the brake light surround and cutting through the interior. Looks pretty cool. It's in line with the roof though.

It's more about me seeing them than them seeing me. Hate seeing peed off drivers have what looks like fits because I'm not doing 60 in a 30 zone. My rear camera still gives me something and I can move  the camera from the inside if needs be to see more. I just choose not to see angry drivers, they used to be a rarity but they're becoming more and more regular. I know people say to ignore them but that's not always easy. They always appear to me like they're ready to crash into you with how frustrated some seem to get. I need a tank as a daily driver. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Each to his/her own Johno.0
Personally, I quite understand your point of view..you're quite right about aggressive drivers, and if it makes you feel more comfortable, then go for it 👍
I'm sure that drivers following our Winds think that they are some sporty speed wagon like a Porsche... thanks to the cool rear spoiler. The rear view is definitely it's best angle... in my opinion 😊

Yes, I agree.

Off topic I know but I've been following the Peugeot RCZ forum as that's similar to the Wind in terms of uniqueness. It was nice to see it has problems shared by other RCZ's across the board, and that on this forum the only problem we have is that summer doesn't last all year. 😂😂😂 I do like the RCZ but think only the R version will be collectible where as all variants of the Wind will be sought after. What do you think?

I must admit to really liking the RCZ...possibly the best looking car that Peugeot ever made.. certainly at the time it was new. They seem to hold their value well too. Cracking looking car.
The Wind is far more compact, so was always going to be a "niche" car, but I guess that makes it all the more sought after

I've had a gander on auto trader and I was surprised at some of the prices but the constant oil leaks a lot of people suffer on the forum put me off as well as the engine errors that always appear so disastrous when they're looked up. Just glad to see the Wind was obviously built to outlast the pyramids 🤣😂🤣😂

Agree with that Old Seadog, when the RCZ was launched I went and had a look as I though it was a convertible, but alas not. That put me right off.
