Hi fellow Wind owners. My name is Ian and I am based in Hove. I have had my Wind for 8 years now. It still gives me a thrill when I see it and a big thrill when I put the roof down. It may be a rather expensive beast when something goes wrong, but (for the moment) my love for it is coping with that :-)

In fact I did once find you - and then I had some technical problems and lost you all again. That was when I was living in Colchester. Back then I used to see many Winds around North Essex. One time there were 3 of us parked in a supermarket car park purely by chance. Here in Brighton & Hove I have seen only one other in the last 18 months.

Welcome to the forum.

As you say occasionally costs can come up & bite you; for example when I had to replace both front suspension arms just because the rubbers had failed; but I've had the Wind 5 yrs now & have no urge to change it.

Welcome Ian, Shame your not up in Colchester still, we seem to be a bit short of members in East of England, although I have seen two other winds in Norwich they're not members, as far as I know of either here or the Facebook group

As I mentioned, I saw 'lots' of Winds around North Essex when I lived there - so they and there owners are out there. Good luck!
