Dads Army versus The Virus
So there I was, doing the Lambeth Walk, toward my local pub, carrying my "Old Cock Linnet"
Managing to dodge the gun towers and boiling oil that had been placed by the villagers to repel "The Enemy" A.K.A. "The Virus"
I arrived to find the place closed T.F.N.
So without benefit of a little alcohol, how am I supposed to "Knees up mother Brown"
Oh, and another thing, I am going to fair miss the "Chef Special" boiled beef and carrots.
STOP PRESS : Rumours that my wife Maggie is throwing out toilet rolls to make room for Long Life milk bottles are greatly exaggerated.
Ah well back to the house to put up the blackout curtains.
Cheerio for now. R.B.
