Wind down, then hold down for 20 seconds. Wind up, then hold up for 20 seconds, I think.

That's wind, not Wind. Laughing

I had a bit of a scare today with my windows in that they stopped working and were stuck fully open. I very nearly ended up calling the AA when I noticed that the windows bizarrely worked if I had the doors closed, but there was still a problem that they automatically lower a couple of centimetres when you open the door and they weren't going back up as they should.

Apparently the Renault technical guidance is to close the window and hold the switch for 10 second, then open the window and hold the switch for 10 second, then close the window and hold for 10 seconds again.

This actually worked perfectly and fixed my problem and I'm now awash with relief as I was tearing my hair out for hours worrying this would be another expensive problem on my little wind. Its worth a go if anyone has similar problems.
