Window auto up? Empty Window auto up?

Post by Alex1197 on Mon 26 Mar 2018 - 21:25

Hi all,

Me again. Now the weather is better i have been able to use the roof more. I notice my windows will go down with one touch but not up.

Is this normal?

Thanks.

Yes, it’s a safety feature. I seem to remember a nasty accident with a child in a parked car with the ignition on (not in a Wind) looking out of the window and kneeling on the button that closed the window with auto-up.

Yes definitely a safety feature but later cars; such as the Captur; with one touch up have an obstruction sensor so as not to strangle children/dogs/etc!.
