where has the time gone?
just (another) little update!
I have had my wind now for two months tomorrow! where has the time gone?
a couple of things I've noticed:-
1. when I connect my phone via Bluetooth to play music, the first track played title stays on the screen even though its moved on to another track!! anyone else experience this?
2. because of the low stance of the wind, I find myself dropping the rear view mirror a lot because all the traffic behind me appear to have their main beams on!!
anyway, two totally minor gripes that don't detract from the fact that the wind is a brilliant little car!!
I was made up the other day, my grandson (11) said the wind was "cool" !! coming from him that is a BIG compliment!!
no doubt I will update in another couple of months and I'm sure you can't wait for that!!

Re: where has the time gone?
I've not noticed the Bluetooth issue - what phone are you using? Did you try applying the update I located? I do find when my phone connects, it shows the first track in the library, but does update when I use TuneIn Radio or Spotify.
The Bluetooth is a bit meh where it can sometimes be a bit hit and miss connecting. The phone works better on my Windows Mobile than it does on my Android, but its annoying that you can't choose a separate preferred telephone and music device.
I've also found the issue with the lights in the rear view mirror - particularly 4x4s and those cocking Nissan Qumquats everyone seems to be buying. I came from an E-Class with electric rear view mirror so the whole manual adjustment thing is a bit meh but otherwise as you say, a fabulous car.

Re: where has the time gone?
elnumbre, I'm using a sony experia m5 aqua, running android 6.0, it connects no problem what so ever! i'll have a look at the software version installed and update if required and hopefully I won't brick the radio into the bargain!!
Nissan qumquats!! every man and his dog appears to have one these days!!
my wife has a hyundia ix35 (same stylee as the qumquat!!), the mirror dims automatically, it's brilliant and a nice car too, although the roof doesn't come off!!

The low stance also means that on dark roads everybody coming towards you blinds you and I find it takes a fraction longer than I'd like to dip my own headlights.

Re: where has the time gone?
Covering the screen is one way to achieve success
Sounds like an incompatibility with AVRCP which is the Bluetooth module that handles the track now/next as well as the media control.
I've got the Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact but it does have OS v 5.1. I read that there was a bug in the Android 4.3 when the version of AVRCP was moved up. Might be worth seeing if your phone has an update.
