I noticed today on the front bumper trim, there appears to be a cut out panel on the left hand grill and not one on the right (as you look at the car from the front).  I assume this is to attach a towing eye?

Yes. Definitely for the towing eye.

There is also one somewhere at the rear although I don't think I'll be towing anyone else up in a hurry.

I read somewhere that you can buy, as a Renault approved accessory, a "Twin Exhaust" kit. Why do I mention this? Because if you fit it you can no longer use the rear towing eye & the extra pipe is only a dummy. I wonder how many of those they sold? Has anyone got one?

I wonder what you could tow with the Wind.  Probably only a Twingo or smaller. Smile

Anything, as the other car will have their own braking system.

Towing? More worried about my clutch than their brakes.

That said the Wind does have the smallest discs on the rear that I have ever seen on a car but the MoT brake tester indicates they do work well.

I seem to remember that the manual says that the Wind is unsuitable for towing, not even a trailer.
