Hi All,

New wind owner here I bought it a few days ago and absolutely love it.

I was wondering if anyone knows where to get those chrome covers for the mirrors as one of mine has damaged plastic and was hoping that would cover it up. and also the ones that go on the roof cover would be nice too.

I've already picked up a few tips from this forum so cheers for that,

Andy

Welcome to the forum!

The Chrome covers were for the Collection edition, but I'm sure someone on here suggested that the wing mirrors were order-able from Renault.  However, apparently the cowling covers are impossible to find,  but you could look at a vinyl chrome wrap, or plastidip maybe.

Hello and welcome to the club.

I have seen the wing mirror chrome covers on ebay. Cowls unless you are willing to pay they are not cheap.

Mirror covers should be the same as for the Twingo.

Like these.  http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2x-Renault-Genuine-Twingo-II-Wind-Roadster-Chrome-Look-Mirror-Cap-Covers-/322088517547?fits=Model%3ATwingo&hash=item4afdf8bfab:g:J4IAAOSwqu9VHTCy

Cowls are no longer available, so I might have to take mine off, and see what they would fetch in an auction. Smile

Hi and welcome. Glad your loving the car.  They are pretty cool and rare !  I have seen chrome mirror covers online if you search you can get them for circa £70.   Can't help you with the cowling covers but interested myself if you find them at a reasonable price.

Let us know how you get on with the car

just realised @Andy7436 you are our 60th Member.  Not bad for a rare car forum that has only been going just over a year lol!

Thanks guys I'm just getting used to the car but loving driving it especially in this weather.
I might be tempted by the Chrome mirrors it looks like you can still get them from Renault for about £50 haven't found the cowling covers anywhere though
