Funnily enough i said to my g/f i would love to go to a meet but i'm so far away, i'm well over an hour north of Aberdeen.....how far north have you travelled for a meet so far?.......I'm 40 minutes from Elgin, the roads here are great for Winds, very quiet, long straights with bendy bits!

North was Cumbria south Kent. France will be the longest so far. We did go to Loch Ness for a week but in the days before we had the Wind. We went on a cruise to the Faroe's calling in at Orkney and Shetland.

Yeah Midgies can be a problem but a good repellent sorts them out.

Yep, your just over the border by a few miles, but watch the drink drive laws here in Bonnie Scotland, as the limit is lower.

In some pubs they are now selling beer in 2/3rd of a pint glasses to stay legal  lol!

With the view from the Cottage I am not bothered about the pubs. If I have the car it's no alcohol...
