Extracted the pee from their prospective customers.
It may be one of the last new cars, but as soon as you use it, you'll knock the value for 6. I reckon the first 5000 miles will cost you at least £1 per mile in depreciation alone.

Re: Anybody fancy a new Wind?
Thats £2.5k dearer than my 1.6 when it was new
No one is going to buy it at that price. Just because of the low mileage, Crazy!
The price to buy a 1.2 Dynamic 2010 (Ebay), is between £4.5k and £6.5k depending on mileage and condition. So double that is madness.
Now if it had been £7k and RED I would have considered it

£4k in my case. I didn't realise our 1.6 models were the base, and the 1.2 was the expensive option.

If it was £7,000 and red it would already be at my house!

Just depends on optional extras/trim bought at the time.
In my case I waited to buy when the UK model was just being discontinued, and the new price of the remaining cars, dropped dramatically to a more realistic level.

Re: Anybody fancy a new Wind?
There are lots of blue ones around, lots of 1.2s, mostly Dynamique S or GT Line but probably only about half of them with full leather. It doesn't seem to have any marked affect on value thought as they generally seem to have asking prices simply to reflect the mileage.
For info, seeing as we're all friends, I've just paid £5,300 for a black 1.6 GT Line (best spec), full leather and 15k miles.

So when do we see the pictures of the Newbie and what have you done with the registration or have you been buying a new one of those too?

That would have been around £17k new (pre UK withdrawal of production)
And around £11k new (post UK withdrawal of production, that's when I got mine)
Either way, you have picked up a low mileage secondhand bargain

Re: Anybody fancy a new Wind?
Curiosity got the better of me and just checked some of those other low mileage, 4 to 5 year old Winds on websites (under 3000 miles) with their number plate against the Governments MOT records now available to the public.
And it is harrowing to see MOT failures with just say 1500 miles on the clock, and as usual, they are all suspension related, failed CV boots and failed REAR shock absorbers leaking fluid.
Weak suspension is definitely a problem area for the Wind, (as we know from other threads on here) usually at the front end, but noticed the above was a rear shock absorber.
Just why the designers decided to use non-robust parts, I will never know, because the cars were not cheap to buy.
Examples.....(not showing car plate or MOT station number), One advantage of this info, is that you know the cars had to be fixed, to Pass MOT.
It is a good website if you are considering a specific secondhand car and want to know MOT and mileage history.

Re: Anybody fancy a new Wind?
The shock could have been from being sat for too long without being used. If the seal sticks to the rod, then it can tear when it is finally used.

I don't see it listed there now so presumably someone has treated themselves.

Or they dropped the price a lot, to be more realistic on a 5 year old car.
