Harness racing
Well always nice too experience something new. Got an invite to watch Harness horse racing. A person on a seat with 2 wheels connect to a horse. So went along. An experience...the horses have a running start up behind a car carrying a gate, starter decides if they are in line the car drives off and lets them continue. Scary

Re: Harness racing
Were these pikeys, on the public road?
I thought it was called trotting, and any faster is Chariot Racing.

I think the 1760 yds was covered in 1 min 56 secs fastest of the day, it felt quick as they went past. How they get the horses to run so close behind a moving car for the start fascinated me, also the riders were so low down they couldn't see past the horses bum.
All in all it was a good experience.
