Been a tough few weeks one of our Customers has gone into Administration.

Difficult when you have to talk to people when you know they will be out of work. Even worse when you have been there. 4 years 7 months and I was in that position.

Reminds me I was a lucky one.

Yes, you never know the minute you can be handed your P45, and shown the door.

Got that 30 years ago, and decided to go self-employed. So I am the boss Very Happy

Yes SSI Redcar,  it's going to see a few Companies go under. Which is always sad.

Always a shame, when others are dragged down. Sad

I have friends in Redcar.  The loss of the steel works could turn it into a bit of a ghost town.

I went the other way. Feeling rather fed up with the politics in education I left a good (ish) job for what looked like a fabulous opportunity . After less than a month I was worried, and after two months started getting very down and depressed. Having assisted my Best Man through depression recently, I recognised what was happening and after just six months had to leave the job for the sake of my sanity.

It took another month of unemployment and hard slog to find another job.

I hope the workers losing their jobs are able to find work soon. They have my sympathy.

If only they had f***ed up at Barclays. Not only would the government bail them out, but they'd get a tidy bonus too. Sadly Redcar is a long way from Whitehall, and steel a much dirtier industry.

Ooohh, litle bit political there, sorry Call me Dave...

Not sure but I think I put the ship name in to track. It was a few year ago.
